Boeing is seeking a Materials & Processes Systems Engineer to join our team in Everett, Washington. This role will primary support multi-model systems engineering within BR&T supporting Boeing Commercial Airplanes.

Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including associate and experienced engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

• Collects information to support definition of requirements for tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes used in the manufacture and engineering design of products.
• Incorporates changes to specifications and other documents to manage the deployment of materials, parts, and processes.
• Performs tests to qualify new tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes to meet requirements. Assists with activities to qualify suppliers to applicable requirements.
• Conducts basic analysis to determine performance or reasons for failures of tools, materials, parts, or processes.
• Assists in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Develops basic computer and production systems to satisfy user requirements.
• Uses project management tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirements. Incorporates environmental health and safety, LEAN and Quality principles into (1) materials and processes, (2) research, design, and qualification, (3) work procedures and (4) labs and office areas.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.

• 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of experience working directly with suppliers, supplier management, and/or engineering
• 1+ years of experience with metallurgy, composites, fasteners, and/or finishes technologies
• Experience with metallic materials and metallic processes
• Experience with composites and composite processes
• Experience with inorganic and/or organic finishing processes
• Aerospace industry experience

Typical Education/Experience:Associate (Level 2):Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Experienced (Level):Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for associate: $82,450 - $111,550

Summary pay range for experienced: $102,000 - $138,000
